For
me the wonderful medium of watercolor has opened a door into the most
fulfilling lifestyle imaginable. I spend my time with simple,
spontaneous images, tweaking color and perfecting form. Obviously
the joy that I experience is transferred to the images as I am often
told that my paintings make people happy. My
business was born with the help of family and friends and continues to
be nurtured by them, for which I am very grateful. Hopefully
you will receive the same joy that thousands of others have.
About
the Artist
Kim
was born and raised in New York. She studied art in England. Due to the happy distractions of a family and a family
business, small watercolors became her focus. A tiny treasure could be
painted in a few spare minutes. The vivid colors and transparency of the
medium proved to be a reliable source of joy. Soon
these tiny paintings found their way onto greeting cards for family and friends
and then into galleries and fine gift shops. Kim
is now able to work in her Washington studio full-time, perfecting the miniature
watercolors.
